Medicine

Our partnership with FAME has led to the construction of a healthcare facility on our own campus. We provide primary and specialized care as well as low cost medicines for the people of El Catey and the surrounding communities.

Throughout the year we are visited by many healthcare providers who help us meet the physical needs of our community.  We also travel to other areas and conduct medical, dental and vision outreaches.

Medical students have the opportunity to spend a one-month rotation with us in El Catey, or they may choose to assist us in performing sports physicals for the Arizona Diamondbacks Baseball Academy in Santo Domingo.

Dr. Steve Dorsey, Director of Del Corazon, and his wife, Julie, continue to dedicate their lives to this ministry in the Dominican Republic.
